Honda Acura Performance Fuel Rail. More Fuel And Performance Look For The Engine

If you make more serious modifications like internal engine upgrades, ported head, bigger camshafts, turbo, nitro or supercharger you will have to make sure that the fuel volume needs of your engine are addressed. The manufacturer of the turbo, nitro or supercharger should tell you what you need to compensate the extra fuel needs.

Performance fuel rail simply provides more fuel that can be injected in side the engine as it needs it. They are usually machined from billet aluminum and available polished or anodized in many cool colors. You could have a performance fuel rail installed just so the engine looks modified. It can be always used in the future when serious modifications are added to your Honda Acura engine. The benefit of having a bigger volume fuel rail, besides the cool look, is that the rail can deliver more fuel because the main internals passage is bigger. Performance Honda Acura fuel rails are made to bolt on the stock engine very easy. The rail also has a port for mounting a fuel gage so you can monitor the fuel pressure when adjusting your fuel regulator. The port is used some times as a source of pressurized fuel for nitro oxide system that sends fuel to the air intake. You can also use aircraft fuel line fittings if you want to add more cool look to the engine compartment. If you are going with a big engine modifications you may need to increase the diameter of the fuel lines all the way back to the tank. Performance fuel rails easily accept bigger than stock fuel lines and they can work with stock or performance adjustable fuel regulators. AEM is the leading manufacturer of performance Honda Acura high volume fuel rails.
